MICROENCAPSULATION OF INDONESIAN POLYMER BIODIVERSITY IN WARTHON'S JELLY MESENCHYMAL STEM CELL (WJMSC)
نویسندگان
چکیده
Objective: WJMSC is a stem cell-derived from Wharton's Jelly the umbilical cord of pregnant women which has ability to differentiate into other cells that are osetogenic, myogenic, neurogenic, and hematopoietic. Stem cell microencapsulation coating technique expected act as delivery vehicle. This study aims make using various types natural polymers.
Methods: (Wharton's Mesenchymal Cell) was cultured with supplemented Modified Eagle Medium (MEM) Alpha in incubator 37 °C 5% CO2. In this study, we investigated polymers (chitosan, glucomannan, inulin, fucoidan amylopectin) microencapsulation. Viability microencapsulate measured MTS (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxy-phenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium) assay, condition medium (CM) determined measure EGF, IL-6, VEGF ELISA.
Results: chitosan, oxidized amylopectin showed viability up 100%. The levels were increased all tested compared negative control.
Conclusion: Tested fucoidan, not toxic successfully carried out.

In-vitro Differentiation of Human Umbilical Cord Wharton’s Jelly Mesenchymal Stem Cells to Insulin-Producing Cells
Background & Objective: Diabetes is a major chronic metabolic disease in the world. Islet transplantation is a way to treat diabetes. Unfortunately, this method is restricted due to graft rejection and lack of donor islets. Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCS) have the ability to differentiate into Insulin-Producing Cells (IPCs). In this study, Human Umbilical Mesenchymal Stem Cells (HUMSCS) were in...
متن کاملWharton’s Jelly Mesenchymal Stem Cell: Various Protocols for Isolation and Differentiation of Hepatocyte-Like Cells; Narrative Review
There are several differentiation methods for mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) into hepatocyte-like cell. Investigators reported various hepatic differentiation protocols such as modifying culturing conditions or using various growth factors/cytokines. In this literature review, we compared different MSCs extraction and isolation protocols from Wharton’s jelly (WJ) and explored various MSCs differ...
متن کاملWharton’s Jelly-derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells can Differentiate into Hepatocyte-like Cells by HepG2 Cell Line Extract
Background: Wharton’s jelly is an unlimited source of stem cells that can be used in cell therapy and tissue engineering without any ethical concern. It has been revealed the cell-free extract could be effective to induce cell differentiation. The objective of this study was to induce Wharton’s jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) into hepatocyte-like cells by premeabilization of the cel...
متن کاملMesenchymal Stem Cell Purification from the Articular Cartilage Cell Culture
Objective Articular cartilage as an avascular skeletal tissue possesses limited capacity to heal. On the other hand, it is believed that the regeneration capacity of each tissue is largely related to its stem cell contents. Little is known about the presence of mesenchymal stem cells in articular cartilage tissue. This subject is investigated in the present study. Materials and Methods Artic...
